As part of Target’s Black Beyond Measure Collection, Atlanta-based athleisure apparel brand, J. Dow Fitness, was featured in more than 1,200 Target stores across the country. Through this annual celebration of Black History Month, Target, is amplifying and celebrating the voices of the Black community of today by expanding their partnerships with Black-owned businesses.

J. Dow Fitness was commissioned to design a Target-exclusive 5-piece collection that includes a graphic crop top with matching leggings, bodysuit, biker shorts, and tank top. The entire collection was size inclusive, ranging from sizes XS up to 3XL. Additionally, each item was very affordable, with prices ranging from $20 to $30 per item. Not only was

the collection available in Target stores; it can also be found on the Target website and mobile app.

The Village Retail

J. Dow Fitness has partnered with the Village Market ATL consistently for the past 4 years. This organization has provided the training, mentorship and resources necessary to take J. Dow Fitness to the next level. The opportunity to extend this partnership to the Village Retail, a Black owned entrepreneurial cooperative, brick and mortar located at Atlanta's Ponce City Market was groundbreaking. Partnering with the Village Retail  allowed J. Dow Fitness to engage with a new audience and develop a consistent in-person shopping experience.
